NHS DONATION

There are many reasons why the NHS is close to my heart, but most notably my Mum. She worked as a nurse for 46 years at the Royal Berkshire Hospital as a chemo giver. She retired just after the global pandemic hit but was unable to work a few months prior due to cataracts in both eyes and a bad back. Thankfully she is now on the mend and will move on to volunteering her time helping those in her community and enjoying a well deserved break.

To the NHS workers still working selflessly hard, thank you for all that you do.

Thank you for your donations, any sales made from my single ‘Love is Blind‘ on Bandcamp fron now until september 2020 will be donated to the NHS via this website.

After 46 years of working for the NHS my Mum officially retired yesterday. She would have been working up until now (and probably continued during this pandemic) but pending cataract operations on both eyes and a back injury from a fall stole the last six months of her working career. I am so proud of her and grateful to everyone working in our healthcare system. I can’t wait to give her a hug and celebrate this milestone soon.
